Top notch, everything that I could have hoped for.

I was put in touch with Smart Heating Solutions via Heat Geek. Ali came around and did the survey and we discussed options for the upgrade of my existing Oil fired radiators and Hot water system. The work was carried out very neatly and although there was the expected disruption, it was minimised to a fairly short period. Now in my mixed 19th, 20th and 21st Century home, I have an even temperature in all rooms, thanks to Ali's skill in identifying which radiators to change and installing the right size of Heat pump necessary (others has recommended bigger!). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for your installation. Yes you can find cheaper quotes, but if you want a good outcome, use a Heat Geek trained installer.

An excellent and professional service from Heat Geek and their installer SBM Energy Solutions. I was impressed from the start when Shaun came to do the initial survey. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. The Installation included changing of most of the existing radiators, replacement hot water cylinder and installation of a Vaillant heat pump. Also decommissioning and removal of an oil fired boiler and oil tank. The installation work was done with the minimum of disruption and the team were helpful, informative and courteous throughout. Product knowledge and explanations were very good. Also I am extremely impressed with performance of the new system which is achieving the target efficiency and heating the house more evenly and effectively than the old oil fired system. The Vaillant heat pump is excellent and very quiet in operation and much better for the environment!

Almost a year in and having gone through a very cold winter the house is warm and cosy. SCOP so far averages out at 4.25 which is more than the promised 4.10.

Heat Geek are Which recommended and recommended to us by Octopus after it transpired that Octopus couldn’t install a heat pump bigger than 10Kw. (They do now)

We had three other quotes and despite the fact they were cheaper we decided to go with Heat Geek installer as, during the survey, he was extremely thorough and gave us more confidence with his overall knowledge.

The installation itself went very smoothly as did the handover. The after care service has been exemplary.

Also looked at various social media posts about Air Source Heat Pumps and amazed at the problems people are having from poor installations. Glad we went the Heat Geek way.

The process from start to finish has been fantastic. From the moment I made contact I was confident that I would get a really good proposal. I already was keen on Valliant heat pumps and seeing the efficiency achieved in use meant I was confident in the whole heat geek approved process. The paperwork needed was clear and very promptly dealt with. The proposal was turned around quite quickly once I had decided on a preferred design. Nick has been brilliant speaking to me before the survey, spending time explaining things and generally being on top of things. He was up front with what delays and how long the heating and hot water would be off for. The installation team as a whole worked wonders and dealt with a tight space and hiccups and managed to finish on time. Nick was calm and patient when we asked questions and asked if we were happy with radiator placements before installing them. I cannot fault the process and we are happy with the install so far. We had an issue after the install from one of the sub contractors but this was quickly rectified and amends made with great customer service. This has been the only issue otherwise it would have been fantastic for all aspects
